Yes this is common , I ran a 14 my first time at the track and some of it was me , this was pre nitrous and DR's so If I pull my head out of my ass I hope for a low 13???? I to have raced the 12 sec car and won??? It's the need to be better at something like mentioned above, I dont care if your faster , maybe one day I'll catch you, maybe not? All in all i find it humrous, I met a guy about 8 months ago with less mods than me , same year z, he ran a 12.7??? according to him! ran him beat him!

But you would think they would know..that at some time in the future..these lies would be exposed when they are called on to run at the track. Or contiually get beat by "slower" cars. Not very bright.
But learning the difference of whats printed in mags and over exaggerated claims on website and what most quick cars actually run at the track seems to be a steep learning curve for some.

Oh well...

That's true. With N/T on your car, you'll be the only one that knows how fast your car is.

Only you and those of us that bring a stop-watch to the track.

One time I was at the track and the people in the tower slipped. They posted the time of a N/T car..

So what are ya saying, Vinny? You're not as fast as people think you are. Don't worry about it. You should have seen me last night. I was out driving the Tammymobile gettin' my ass waxed all over the place. DanV2 put a serious hurting on me. Then I tried to hang behing DanV1 and V2 with Aharon coming up behind me. Talk about a bite out of a shit sandwich...and I was the shit in the sandwich. Gotta tell ya, I'm not used to that particular situation but, the sun came up this morning so I guess it's OK. Get your ass out on the track and have some fun.

What is it if you're riding in the car instead of pushing it?
