John Force Racing has confirmed that Brian Corradi and Daniel Hood will be co-crew chiefs on the Courtney Force-driven Advance Auto Parts Chevy Camaro for the 2018 Mello Yello Drag Racing Series.

Corradi joins Hood, who last year tuned Courtney Force to seven No. 1 qualifying spots and five runner-ups en route to an impressive third-place finish behind only her teammate, champion Robert Hight, and 2016 champ Ron Capps. Corradi and Hood previously worked together on Dean Skuza's Funny Car.


"[Hood] used to play with my kids," Corradi told "NHRA Today." "I used to be yelling at them, 'Go to sleep!' It's like family."
Corradi admitted it was hard to leave Don Schumacher racing, where he had been one of the main factors in the Top Fuel championships with Antron Brown.


"I've been thinking about it, and the opportunity came up when Force offered me a job last year, and I thought about it," Corradi said. "And then this year he offered it again and I figured, you know what, if I'm going to do it, now's the time."
