How did everyone feel about the running of the show tonight??

Anything you think would make things run a little smoother??

Rules youd change etc??

Figure this would be a good chance to give feedback to the folks that run the event

Ill go first......

I think they should not allow all of the trailer queens that showed up afterall this event is geared toward racing street cars.

I also think that maybe parking should NOT be allowed past the the restroom area. We had cars trying to squeeze by between the 4 lane wide block of cars and row of cars parked along the fence just not enough room.

Not sure if anything can be done about the 30 mins in line to run just a large turnout to blame there I guess??

Overall I think everything ran smoothly.....

i agree about the parking there was plenty of room down towards the end of the track but everyone decided to pack in right there next to the stands it makes it a pain in the ass to get out i dont know if anyone saw me trying to leave i was squeezing through between 2 lanes of oncoming traffic. and i also agree about the trailers but i thaught that it had already been decided that the trailered-in cars were not allowed. but anyways i still had mad fun.

I was happy with parts of it and dissapointed with others.

The trailer queen issue is somewhat moot however. YES there were trailers there but those cars were not running. They were working on the cars in the trailers prepping for Saturday. I think the red Chevy II was trailered as was the Blue/White 70 Mustang MACH I with the chevy motor. Steve (Dragin) trailered his in but it is street legal he just drives so far he doesnt want to put miles on his race motor he is very capable of driving it all the way.

I thought we were going to park based on club? Like TR would set up in one spot and all TR folks would park together then BADRAP would park somewhere else.. and so on. Then we would call people out and race em. I saw people just running to run very little setup races hardly any call outs.. seemed like a test and tune without the timeslips and tech cards.

I was upset to see the amount of underage drinking. I saw MANY kids who couldnt have even been 18 drinking at some of the cars and I thought that was going to be agressively enforced I dont want to line up next to some 17 year old wonderboy who is drunk!

Nobody wanted to run our guys that was dissapointing but oh well. Seemed our guys had to run our own people all night that got old since we already knew who would win those races I was hoping to see some rivalries and such maybe next time?

I had a good time it was fun to sit and watch the patheitc and the fast. Just a fewsmall things and I think it would be better.

If possible I say they should have people that are actually there to race park on one side and spectators park on the other. The staging lanes as well as the returns lanes appeared to be very disorganized. Overall I thought it turned out pretty good given the number of people.

And someone needs to burn that Creed CD they kept playing. It got old real quick.

I must agree about the parking. The place was a cluster fuck of cars at certain points. Towards the back of the staging lanes it looked like there were 10 staging lanes. Overall though I think it went off pretty good. Oh yeah what was with the music? I could have swearn I heard somebody say that they were going to play neutral stuff.
