Default liability at the track

question...
i've never read that thing that i sign at the track events. What am i signing? i assume it is some liablity waiver or something. does it just waive the liability of BMP, or does it also say that you can't sue anyone else on the track as well?

for instance, if i accidentally cross into the other lane and tag another car, am i liable for what happens to them or their car?

I sign those all the time ours here in Chicago state, that the you are racing at your own risk. The track is not responsible, nor is the driver that tags you or vice versa.
