So the guy that has a race only, purpose built vehicle with tens of thousands of dollars invested should have to wait in line with little Timmy who wants to see what his mom's maxima runs? I don't agree at all. I have waited to run in both lanes, and I can tell you the idea of someone sitting in a race car with lexan windows, no insulation, and a fire suit on waiting an hour to run is ridiciulous, and a rail car will not even maneuver through the pits to run the regular lane. I have always run in the street lane with the buick, but now hearing the cut off is 8.0 (I thought it was 7.5) I believe I will run in the pro lane the next time I am there

 

What is this suppose to mean? I'm not down with the high school lingo anymore. Enlighten me.

What ever I'm not acting 30 because I think that everyone should get the same run time you guys are morons and the reason these dumbass kids go out to gandy and get hurt and/or busted.

you are acting just as childish by argueing with me over the flipping internet. I have a slow ass Cobra and just want to run at the track where it is legal. I depend on my DL to get to work everday. But I can keep argueing if you want makes no difference to me.

 

What your not seeing is that you guys get more run time, but there are more of you street cars then race cars. thats what your not seeing and its been said 3 or 4 times now. I'm not going to sit here and argue, because I couldnt give a rats ass. When I go, I get in my 5 or 6 runs, and get to run the Quick 8. Dont blame the race cars on kids going to gandy either. That shows how little brains they do have. Like Derek said earlier, BMP has a night where there are no Race cars allowed. Nice huh? Nobody has a night just for race cars that are drivin once a week, sometimes twice, but not everyday. So with that said, piss and moan all you want. I dont care. If you are infact "fed up with sunshine" then dont go. Thats all i can tell ya. Have a nice day.

I can see JL's point, but I also see yours. The problem is some nights the consistancy of letting a good majority of the street cars through and then letting the race cars run is way out of wack. They sometimes seem to give even more time for the race cars to run multiple times when there's a street car line 75 cars long.

The option to go somewhere else if we don't like it isn't even an option, who wants to drive an hour to bradenton to race in the ricefest on an unpreped track? Not me.

 

I do own a race car and I don't like to aruge, but you obviously like to whine about stuff like a child. Deal with it.

Please don't push the ignorance of kids that go to Gandy, etc to street race on me.. THAT in itself is ignorance beyond comprehension...

I'll leave it at this.. IT ISN'T GOING TO HAPPEN. THE RACE CARS WILL ALWAYS RUN MORE THAN THE STREET CARS.. Although it's complete BS, it just seems to be the only thing you want to hear.
Here are the options:
Go to Sunshine and wait in the lines, deal with whatever is there
Go to BMP and wait in the lines deal with whatever is there
Go to 1320 deal with the lines and whatever is there..


If you need to take it to the tower and complain, take it to Todd Dickenson (track owner of both BMP and Sunshine) and complain.
Or go to www.sunshinedragstrip.com and send them an email.... complaining to us isn't going to get you anywhere..
For what it's worth it's a RACE TRACK, which is always going to cater to RACE CARS..

Moral of this story? DEAL WITH IT.

 

1. not everyday is racecar only day. there's more street cars then race cars there ALWAYS. 2. going somewhere else is an option. If its not done the way it is liked, then why go? Sure its gonna suck driving furthur to race, but those are the options. The street car line is ALWAYS 75 cars long if ya havent noticed. Sometimes longer. And that is why the street cars sit in the lanes longer. Have you ever been there on a "not so busy street car night"? I have. I have stood there and watched street cars run like its a circle track. Never once do I bitch because I know I will get my turn. But when there are 80 street cars and 20 pro cars, this shit is gonna happen. Plain and simple. Dont blame the low number of pro cars for this. blame the mass amount of street cars that show up.
