shifting tips?

Default shifting tips?

Hey im just wondering if anyone has some tips for shifting to get my times lower... like drag racing techniques..just wonderin if theres nething out there

It's good to have a dyno graph to show you where your making your power ... generally people have a tendency to take the car way past where it makes its best power to where it can be detrimental.

Just keep your foot on the gas and shift it like you hate it

Ditto was theshow said. Don't overshift. However, you have to take into consideration of where your peak power is and in relation to your transmission gearing. I'm sure there is a shift calculator online which would be in the ballpark. But nothing beats track testing. Good luck. -Mark

That's a big negative on the 300 The last trackday I had the same 1.63 60', and ran a 12.56 at only 104 because my knock sensor was picking up pinging and pulling out all the timing towards the top of 3rd. So, unless you've done alot since your 12.47, I think it'd be a damn good race
