If you have an SXT, the 1st thing to mod is the brakes: the BR3 brakes are good for one hard stop then they are useless. The BR3 consists of tiny 12.6 front rotors with single piston calipers, and very thin (3/8/") non-vented rear rotors.

You can bolt on the BR5 Brakes from the R/T models which are a vast improvement (13.6" thicker rotors with dual piston calipers and vented rear rotors), or go whole hog like I did and bolt on the Police BR9 brakes (14.5" front rotors with huge dual piston calipers and thick 13.8" vented rear rotors).

After you have the stopping issue fixed, then move on up to a better exhaust, a closed box CAI, and a Diablo tuner-- these parts all work together to make the car much more enjoyable to drive once you know you can stop!Attached Thumbnails

Where did you get the rotors and calipers for the front and back?
While 20" wheels are better for both the BR5 and BR9, the BR5 will fit any 18" wheel easily, but the BR9 is so tight with 18" wheels I wouldn't chance it if I were you (see 1st picture). I had to grind down the wheel balance weights on my winter 18" rims to make them fit. Both packages will require an 18" spare tire and the BR9 needs a 1/4" spacer on top of that to clear the calipers (pics two and three).

You can buy BR5 calipers, carriers. rotors anywhere, just tell them you have the R/T model. PowerStop sells a nice package with powder coated calipers and drilled/slotted rotors (pic 4):

For my BR9 brakes I used these PowerStop rotors:

The BR9 are a pain to get all the parts, and they are getting hard to find. (see this thread: https://www.chargerforums.com/forums...d.php?t=377042)Attached Thumbnails
