Well, Since I'm testing all of these intke options I figured I would give my thoughts on the factory filter and size it up against the Hellcat filter as well as an AEM Drop in and the filters from the Mopar CAI and the Legmaker True CAI. Basically, the stock filter flows 731 CFM when clean and, well, not near enough when at full filteration capacity. By contrast, the Hellcat filter flows roughly 1100 cfm when clean and about 700 when at full operational filtration capacity. I have no data on the aftermarket filters but by the looks of them they will sacrifice filtration capacity for performance.

Track testing the 6.4/392 Mopar cold air intake...

This is where the rubber meets the track, and I track test the MOPAR cold air intake I've been tweaking on for a few weeks. I took the car to Gainesville Raceway on 5/27 for Midnight Madness. So far, it has proven to be much more resistant to heat soak in daily driving conditions than the Hellcat lower air box setup I ran before. While I still have some other things to try to improve it even further, results are in the numbers. The car trapped significantly better than the Hellcat setup, and was much more consistent when hot lapping the car, even in not so great air density/track conditions. DA on Friday ranged from +1776 to +900, with air temps from 84* to 70* and 34% to 53% humidity. Car is a 2016 Challenger Scat Pack...8 spd auto trans....Atturo AZ850 275/40-20 tires. Car was run in Sport mode, auto shift, with 3/4 tank of an 80/20 mix of 93 and E85.

OP, if you are curious about AFEs open element intake vs the Momentum setup - I asked them about it here; they claimed the momentum unit actually made a little less then the open element since the open element drew easier air from the engine bay as well.
Then again, easy air could be = hot air...not sure how the trade off works when it comes to more hotter air vs lesser colder air...

The steps we have taken to minimize heat soak, we used a Thermoset plastic to resist heat soak from both the housing to the intake tube. This gives you the best of both worlds, the performance of a CAI but with the easy installation of a short ram intake.

Typically the momentum intakes are easier to install than the stage 2's, using less parts and pieces to put together, which means quicker time to go out and drive your Mopar. No cutting or drilling, just remove your stock intake, install ours and go have fun.

As far as performance numbers the Momentum GT does make a little bit less than the Stage 2, but that is mostly because of how the stage 2 is more of a open element intake, being able to draw more air from the engine bay. The Momentum GT intake is a sealed enclosure, drawing air from the factory set inlet or inlets depending if you have the Air catcher that the Hellcat Challenger uses or not.

Some owners want more of a OE look, while giving you more power than stock, cooler air and a quieter intake sound we recommend the Momentum intakes. But there are others who prefer a louder sounding and visually pleasing intake. Then the stage 2 would be more of your taste, either option will increase horsepower and torque and we are certain you will enjoy the product "

The open intake would probably make a bit more power than the sealed one IF you are talking about engines that use a Mass Airflow Sensor (Camaros & Mustangs), but since Mopar uses a speed Density system, hot air is the last thing you want.
