Default the van project

I need your advice. I'm thinking buy following parts

ECU, Cam, metal head gasket, rebuit tranny, torque converter. and i've got a new intake manifold. i need a digi cam so i can show you.

i think those parts make the van running 13sec. i let my brother use the van, so i can't make it very faaast.

which parts store do you recomend to buy parts? FWD?? FM??

let me know if you have parts i want.

Relentless Performance. He also has a 3bar cal out or coming out soon. The cam might not make all that much difference once you get into the higher boost levels.

Whats your current setup?

So its not intercooled and it has a itty bitty mitsu still? There are your first two mods right there. Throw on a Garrett T03 and a intercooler

the van got Fuso intercooler, garett t3, boost controller (it's off now) engine is stock. I tryed to install a GM map sensor, but it didn't work....

I just want to get the van running again, so my brother can drive it. I'll build the 12sec van after summer.

I guess i shouldn't buy the ECU now. instead of buying an ECU, I should buy diode, injectors and an adjustable fuel regulator. does older cam will right bolt on to 89 cam?? or just buy the super 60 cam??

I'm interested on buying FearThe4Doors stuff for 12sec project. and levi's t3/t4. what RPM your t3/t4 spools? garett t3 spools at 3000 on 2.6.

Yeah the GM Map is a 3bar I think, you need to actually have a calibration for it or a S60 ecu. Gary at Relentless Performance should have a 3bar cal. You could use that with larger injectors and run the boost up without the need for rising rate regulators, extra injectors, diodes and the likes. IMHO a 3bar cal is really the way to go, less hassle, more reliable, and less tuning variables.

89's are roller cam right? If so then the older slider cams would probably not be a good idea with it because the head won't have the extra oil squirters machined in.
