you would think that you would start seeing 2.0's and 2.4's there but no there was a Neon a month ago but it was a roll over and completely demolished

I found a Dak for sale, 2nd gen 4 banger 5 speed, $3k, I'd say if I had the $$$$ I'd be pimpin it with a Turbo

there are quite a few yards here with neons, not pick n pulls but at least they have cheap parts. Starkey road salvage? i think, has a bunch.

I can find neon parts here. There are plenty of tourists wrecking the new neon rental cars too, cept those only have 132hp stock. But I can still find plenty of older neon engines

You can push a non-common block pretty far. Failures with any of the blocks are pretty rare.

I keep hearing or reading no more than 250hp, and that after that point you are a lot more likely to crack a main, or so it is said. Maybe this is just a falacy

I am really aiming to start with a 2.5 TI or a 2.2 TII, so I guess I wouldn't have to think about that. Lately it seems it is becoming harder to find anything except loggers, and I am considering settling for one of these with a 1 piece intake conversion.
