You need the 2.4 motor mount adaptor and the PT cruiser alternator bracket. Also gotta rewire the firing order on the coil pack.

Ditto. You must be doing a non srt swap cause I can't figure why you'd just use the bottom end

correction, you do NOT need the PT alternator brackets...I use 2.0L alternator brackets myself....but you do need to mount the lower bracket on the 2.4L block with just one bolt and one of the "arms" needs to be cut off, also I have done the SRT swap, believe me when I say its not all its cracked up to be...in fact its just one major PITA...needed for the 2.4 swap

2.4 engine(or at least the block if you are using the 2.0L head)
passengers side motor mount adapter
24lb/hr injectors or FPR/return line setup to use with stock 19lb/hr injectors
DOHC computer(also preferrably a DOHC wiring harness, but it can be done with the SOHC wiring harness...just more of a pain, just make SURE that the engine wiring harness and the body wiring harness are from the SAME YEAR, otherwise you will run into issues)
DOHC hood(alternatively you can use a SOHC hood if you cut out all the bracing...it should just barely fit...as far as aftermarket hoods...the only one I know will fit from experience is the keystone viper hood...though others may as well I have never used any)
PT crusier alternator brackets(alternatively 2.0L brackets can work with some modification)
2.0L DOHC intake and exhaust manifolds(alternatively some people use the stratus 2.4 intake manifold but they must somehow moved their radiator and fans forward to do so...but the 2.0L manifold is better)

things needing to be modified
wiring harness
transmission mount insert needs to be flipped
front motor mount needs a small section cut out of it
and with a 98 you will need to spice the older style bosch injector clips onto your wiring harness if you are using 24lb/hr injectors

Honestly just join neons.org if you look around you'll find everything you need to rather easily.
