intake on 2005 srt

Default intake on 2005 srt

hey guys wondering if any body feel a hp difference beetween cold air or short ram i am leaning towards short ram because of water because we live in florida where when it comes down it comes down by the tons also is there a difference beetween 03-05 srt in intake wondering if i can buy a 04 for 05 its cheaper

you might see like a 1-5 hp difference.nothing noticably diffrent.the cold air would be better because its so hot in florida you need every little degree that you can get.the water dosent come up that high around here unless you live by the beach.even so aem makes a bypass valve just for that.short ram are a waste of money because if you really want something like that then just cut the stock tube.

The Stock Air box is actually a cold air intake,it has duct that dips into the fender,I definitely agree with Dan,I see a intake on a stock turbo srt like a expensive mopar bov.

just run it open turbo,who cares and it sounds alittle better.

i noticed a difference on my short ram injen. yes intake temps suck but so do the temps with the stock airbox. even the cold air temps arent good. i bought the injen for the large piping and for the sound. your car sounds like a jet fighter with that puppy on there. but if your gunna spend 200 on a mod the wga would be my first choice. big gains with that mod. make the decision that you like best. lmk if you wanna hear it or see pics of it i will post some.
