Hey, what is the deal on the alcohol? Back in the Bag and earning some. Did you get to the track, and if so hit me up with some times.

I know, he changed his screen name. Besides, not much was going on with the dodge tech anyway. Speaking of tech... who is spraying methanol with their SRT-4's and what kits?

When we data logged on slow_pokes car with the stock turbo the intake temps sat at around 90 degrees f on a 70 degree day, under heavey boost and load the temps would go clear up to 125-128 degrees f. Once stage 3 went on the temps went down big time. The intake now runs 80 degrees f crusing on a 75-80 degree day and under heavy load we where never able to get the temps any higher than 115 dregrees f. I will look at the data logs and make sure what i remember is accurite but i am fairly sure those are the numbers. All this threw the stock intercooler. Ohh with stage 3 also comes the intercooler sprayer so the temps will never get very high.

Add water / alcohol injection and the intake temps could be at or under ambiant temps. There are a couple of people running Mopar stage 3 with water / alcohol injection that are able to get the temps and burn rate low enough to run high octane mode with 93 or 100 gas. That means race gas speed paying water prices. Good stuff.

Sounds like they did some homework with the stage 3 kit. Water/meth inj on top of the stage 3 kit should make the intake cool to the touch. These SRT-4's got my attention in a big way. Where can I find a compresor map on the turbo used on the 3 kit? Just from reading the turbo sounds like a special gig integrated into the manifold.
So, what is the next step after the stage 3?
This SRT stuff is an interesting study.

If you want a map, kidnap a PVO engineer.

i don't think we saw temps above 97' F..........i could be wrong...seeing as i was driving and you were logging....
gotta worry about water/alky injection frezzing w/n2o !!!!!!!!! don't want ice cubes going into the motor !!!!!!!
