+1 on not modding, get some tasteful wheels and maybe some suspension and enjoy it

but if you have to,get a custom exhaust,home depot intake..and a 50 shot?

I don't have to, but you know, Stock gets boring. everything in the car is stock. I've got the upgraded rims, and such. She's a beauty. She's all stock...I've checked mopar. They only have 2003-2005 sebring sedans. Not anything for 2001. I'd need good directions on doing anything to my car because i don't know much about modding it up. I just want my baby to pur.. ha.

2001 Sebring Conv and 4dr Sedan is the same as 2004-2005. If its a 2.7L 6cyl keep up on the oil changes we are seeing a lot of wasted 2.7L already. And I've never seen any mods except maybe cold air intakes.

don't mod it with engine mods, just do interior and exterior crap if you want, I do believe in mexico they do alot of mods(engine)to the 2.4 stratus/breeze. I do recall seeing some sites showing mods to the 2.4 but cannot recall which sites they were.

if it has a 2.4 you can mod it up like mine, all 2.4s(SRT4 motors included) are basically the same, there are 3 stock turbo 2.4 motors, the first is the mexican stratus turbo 2.4, the 2nd is the GT cruiser(PT cruiser) and the 3rd is the SRT4, any of the other 2.4s can be turbocharged(like mine, I used the block from a 96 sebring) 2.4 pistons made for the SRT4 or aftermarket(like my wisecos) can be aquired, rods from an SRT4 or a T2 motor(mine are T2 rods, modified to fit the 2.4 block and wiseco pistons) or aftermarket Eagle rods may be used as well, I suggest SRT4 rods myself, nice and cheap, although modified t2 rods arent too much more...I think the eagles are rather low quality and break easily, stick with Mopar for rods unless your going high quality with crower or something, the cams from a 2.0L DOHC neon(aftermarket crane cams as well) will fit the 2.4(assuming you do the cam magnet hokey pokey), so will SRT4 cams and any aftermarkets they make for the SRT4s, the SRT turbo and Intake manifolds will NOT bolt up, you would need to get a manifold from hahn racecraft to go turbo, now assuming you dont have the 2.4, instead the 2.7....I dont have a clue
