What car is this again? Omni GLH?

I can't remember, but if so...

Once upon a time, the Dodge Omni line of vehicles had a nice little voltage regulator mounted somewhere on the firewall that was fairly easy and inexpensive to replace. This apparently all changed with fuel injection in 1990, when the voltage regulator was moved into the onboard computer. Effectively, what would otherwise be a $30 part becomes a $300 part.

YMMV

I have a Shelby Charger GLH-S, and I don't have that box, I looked. Do you think it may be in the alt?

Levi, the power module(the black computer next to the battery)
it controls the charging system.

Levi-

To test the alternator and narrow down the problem, apply +12V to the field terminals (the two small wires going to the alternator). If the alternator output voltage jumps way up when you do that, then the alternator is good and the voltage regulator/field wiring/power module is bad.

so that enitre box thing on the side needs to be replaced. Just to make sure it the box that air should be draswn through with stock air intake setup?

How much do those go for?

Can I use anyone, or does it have to be for a Shelby and Turbo?

I found one on a 84 charger carb, does carb matter, for what this one part does?
