Levi-
Did you test the alternator by putting 12V at the field terminals?

Also....A power module can be had at Cophers U Pull It for $35. I bought one there awhile back.

hey guys,
can the box be opened up? If it can, maybe I can fix it for ya, as long as youre not in a rush for it.

Yes it can be opened up quite easily. But, finding the problem would require very specific knowledge of the circuitry.

I am giong to replace it, but I still am not sure if any module will work, or does it have to come out of a Turbo car?

Just answer this one and I will be quiet.

I believe the 85-87 power modules are the same. And, they are turbo specific (i.e. N/A wont work).
