suspension sugesstion!
so i have a 1995 ls integra with a gsr turbo swap. im looking into to buy a good suspension setup. what is a good setup to run that is decently priced.(i dont want shit but i also dont want to spend 2gs on coilovers) thanks for the input
You want suspension that is "good" for what?
Drag racing? Autocross? Road racing? Off-road use? Highway cruising? Scraping speed bumps? Impressing people who think "low" is cool?

Nevermind the grumpy old racecar driver. Though he does have a good point. And when you do answer his questions, listen up. Cause Loren knows suspension.
As a rule of thumb, drop springs will get you the look, shocks will get you the performance. Either way, getting all that power to the ground is something you should aim for.

its a daily driver. i had a set of kw fully adjustable coilovers on my srt-4 that i use to own and i was really impressed by them bcause not only was it a nice looking drop it also drove really smooth and had nice performance, thats what im looking for. kinda an all around daily driver with a nice look but not slammed good performance but not drag or autocrossing
Talk to Jeff and see if K-Sport makes a kit for it. You could go with a set of springs and shocks, but then you're stuck with whatever ride height you end up with (most likely too low), and the shocks won't be matched to the springs. A low-end coilover kit like the K-Sport is a good value and gives you a lot of flexibility to set the car up at a ride height that works for you and adjust the damping for your personal preference between ride quality and handling.
The key to daily driving comfort is to retain some ride height and suspension travel to soak up the bumps.

yea The K-sports are availble for that application and they are priced right $799 Keep i mind K-sport is full length adjustable unlike some other kits. which allows the hondas to be run low without loosing travel. and while I don't disagree with Loren often.. the older Hondas can be run pretty low and actually work "in the weeds"
Give me a call if you want me to order them since k-sport needs 2 week lead time.

Might i recommend a set up that works excellent for me... Skunk2 adjustable coilovers with Koni Yellow adjustable struts. I have it on a 92 hatchback. The ride is quite civil (given I have the Integra version of the coilovers) with the Koni's on full soft. And when I autocross or do some "spirited driving", they give me the stiffness I need. Plus, the ride height is adjustable. In my opinion, I've found the balance between sport adjustability and daily driveability. Just don't slam your car like most of the Hondas. Give yourself some suspension travel. I have a nice lowered height, but I rarely scrape the front lip and go over train tracks with ease! Hope my experience is worth something.
