Good deal John. Let me know when you get the number and a fistfull of business cards for me. I have people asking me for dyno time more and more. To be able to toss them a card with your number on it instead of me trying to set it up with you makes ir all the more easy and profitable for you.
i like being the sole wrench turner.. it makes me feel really welcome. if im to work with others.. my project is my project. i will be severley pissed to find someone had gone and finished assembly on something i had already started.. if the cash got steady enough id ditch my actual job to part time onyl and go to the shop more. i dont want to work with (m)any other people really. i do a good job and im proud of my work. plus i dont bitch i keep my mouth shut do my job and dont ask 100000 questions. im happy with who i work with and the friends im in company of.
this shop is taste of what i have always dreamed of and never could have.. my own shop.. a dream that will probably never happen... thank you for this awesome opportunity. but to make it a full time business a gain though would spoil it... IMHO

Yes thank you for getting a phone line. I had some guy with a 91 Prelude who was reffered to me (why me I dont know) by someone who had my cell number asking me about porting and how much of a gain it would give him. He was told 45hp to the wheels. WTF? I told him that whoever told him this was taking his money...turns out it was James from RR doing the port work. Whoops. Maybe on a 427 big block or a worked small block...but come on. There is a huge need for knowledgable and experianced import tuners in this area. My thoughts are that you have a vast knowledge of Hondas and imports it would be a crime not to help edecuate the general community by tuning their cars and taking their money. Enough people are out there who want things done (like the Prelude example above) and done to a high enough mechanical content (beyond clear light installs) to warrant the effort. Your expertise is valuable (take that in many ways).
All in all though you should do whatever makes you happy in the long run...whatever that may be.
