Well its done from the front seats back. ALL sound deadener is gone. I used some mineral spirits and its all cleaned up. No more pools of gearlube back there. Everything I could take out is out. All plastic seatbelts rear seats rear window fluid tank few metal support brackets for misc plastic pieces headliner all 6 speakers. There is still a LOT to take out.

Padding under front carpet. All sound deadener from the front seats to the firewall and on the firewall. Figure out how to take the rear wiper off without having a huge hole in the body. Same with the antenna (pulled out the wire though). Heat shielding in the driveshaft tunnel. Scrape all the gunk off the bottom of the car. Radio is still in as a heavy clock until I get something nice to mount the SAFC/VPC and maybe a couple gauges there. A/C and whatever I can get out when I swap the motor.

I drove it for a mile or so and OMFG! What a difference already! The car is much MUCH lighter in the rear now. I can totally feel all the weight in the front. The rear end doesnt even feel like its there anymore. This whole weight reduction thing is like picking a scab....you cant stop until its all gone.

Jenny Craig Racing Team......

sounds like youre on the right track.
As for removing the brackets why not just use an angle or disc grinder and take those bad boys off? Ive got one if you need it by the way. Dont know how anyone can live without one.
