get lots of cement, 8" diameter 1/4" thick steel water pipe. make a foundation of cement about 3 feet square, then fill the pipe with cement then bolt your mail box wit some 1/4 steel plating and grade 8 bolts to the pole. then fll your mailbox with cement and get a PO box. You'll have any problems again. and If someone gets crazy with a mailbox baseball, they wont have arms left when they take a swing

At work we had box trucks coming into the gate and swinging wide, clipped some stuff that was there, a deilvery truck one time, our trash cans...
we put in a 4x4 steel pole, filled with cement, dug about 4 feet in, 4 feet high out. this shit is like 1 inch thick. 3rd day, a ups truck nailed it. Fucking thing was a mess, but nobody has hit it since.
