I suppose it all depends. I don't know exactly what happened between the two of your or how much shit she caused you so at first glance I'd say you should pay it back in full. You bought it, you kept it, your lack of payment has wrecked both her's and your credit, you owe her money. She didn't have to ask your permission to pay it back, her ass was on the line due to being a co-signer. If I were in her situation I'd take your ass to court. That being said, if she screwed you over something fierce during the relationship (ie: cheated, stole money, etc.) I'd say fuck it, do the bare minimum that will guarantee you no future issues.
