I recieved another PM from him... this is just too much.
I replied with this... which i think... is being more then fair.
I also did a follow up PM, to assure him Im not trying to be an asshole or dick him over...
I wish this could've ended on a better note....

This is funny, because you specifically said you would cover parts and repair costs. Jeff you know you said that. You gave me the option, and you know you did that. Your saying this on PM cause you could not say this on the phone seeing as how you know what you told me. If this is how you want to deal business then so be it. IM not going to argue with you over 100. Just remember all a man has his is his balls and his words. If you wanted me to take it to ybor you should not have given me an option, and claimed you would either pay half of parts and labor or take it to your shop. This is so gay, you could at least say, "you know money is tight and I cant do it", but go back on your word? In any case valve stem seals are $40 and the cost on "some" of the seats. Will get the CORRECT amount and get back to you. Hot tank and wash and they will square at no charge $40 hot tank and wash due to the excessive rust. I will blindly say 100 dollars assuming it would be 10 (favorable cost to you) on the seats. 100 total so "half" is $50. I can send you the receipts. Let me know how you want to send the funds. I can give you the address and you can send it with the parts of mine you were sending back. LMK

I gave you the option to bring it to the machine shop I use, and assumed you would've done the smart thing and had whatever could've been wrong, warrantied, everything fixed for free. I said if my shop would not cover it for whatever reason I would take care of you.
Im sorry this had to come out in a bad light. I did everything I could to ensure everything went smooth, even drove all the way out to you, Send me the invoice, and i'll return it along with 50 bucks, and the parts as soon as I can.

Again, please don't take this as me trying to stiff you, or be an asshole. That's just not the case. I lost a lot of money on this head already, and with out a second opinion, or even the chance for my shop to check this out, and make right what _might_ have been wrong, I just cannot justify paying for this.

Well it sounds like you gave him an option:
a) fix for free at the original shop
b) pay half parts/labor to have it fixed
Sounds to me like you didn't make it perfectly clear that the only way you'd help him fix the head was if he were to take it back for warranty work. It is perceived you gave him the option, so you should try to fulfill that option.
This is what I would do: Get the bill from his shop and have your shop price out similar work to the head. Pay him half the cost it would have taken your shop to do the work (if it is less than his shop).
