Son of a bizznatch *update*
....didn't want to post this out among the masses cause I'm in no mood to deal with the bullshit.

What the fuck is wrong with people? Why do some ghetto ass motherfuckers have to break into houses and steal people's stuff??? Any why does it always have to be sentimental shit that gets taken? Son of a bitch. I'm so fucking mad right now. My parents were away on vacation...next door neighbor was keeping watch of their house. I stayed there Sunday to Monday since we were out of power here. Parents were supposed to come home Monday night. Instead they came home Tuesday night. And while Charles and I were sitting at the airport waiting for my parents' flight to come in, some piece of shit motherfuckers decided to break in and steal/ruin some things. Big honkin' TV from the living room was taken, and ended up laying at the end of their driveway (guess it was too big to stick in their car), surround sound stereo stuff was all stolen, my mother's entire jewelry box, which had all kinds of old, antique jewelry, many sentimental items (i.e. necklace she wore on her wedding day, necklace my dad gave her the day I was born, a very nice watch she received back in the day when she graduated high school or college, etc), my father's watches gone, and a handful of cash (about $40 worth of Sacajewea dollars that my Mom was hanging onto for some reason.) Fuckers went through all their drawers, went through my room at their house and took my diploma display frame (WTF???...thankfully my college diploma wasn't in it), busted out the kitchen window that faces out into the lanai, and bled the fuck all over the kitchen. They were even rude enough to leave all the lights on. Bastards. So my parents called the police....forensics came and got some good prints and got DNA from the blood they left. I plan on giving the police a statement about something odd I noticed on Sunday, but didn't think much of at the time.
Anyways, I'm so upset about this....and I shudder to think how my parents are, especially my mom. I spoke with them today, and I could tell Mom was on the verge of tears, Dad was just pissed off as all hell. Good thing no one was home when it happened, cause my Dad would have shot them no doubt. I'm actually surprised they didn't steal those too, as my dad has like 4 or 5 guns on a rack in the house.
People are just fucking piece of shit assholes, and it disgusts me. Sorry for the rant, but I've been a mess all day because of it. Thanks for listening/reading if anyone even bothered to read the whole thing.

From what it sounds like, they were probably casing the house for a long time. Crafty little fuckers. Lets hope they get caught and thrown in jail only after you get to rough them up a bit. Is critical condition considered "a little bit?"

As for someone "casing the joint", on Sunday, I noticed someone driving around the neighborhood (and past our house) very very slowly in a Bright House van. At the time, I didn't think anything of it, but now that I take a better look at it, the time that I saw it was during the middle of the storm. Ambulances/emergency vehicles wouldn't even go out at the time since the weather was so bad, so there's no way in hell that Bright House would send a van out (shit, they won't even send someone out when its sunny and 85 degrees outside.) So I dunno.
