Get an Anaconda...like in the movies. Then you can feed it random hoodrats and it will be happy. It seems that there are an endless supply.

But anyways, sucks to hear that happened Leslie. Hopefully they find a fingerprint match in the DB and can prosecute the fuckers. Might want to keep an eye on the pawn shops in the area in case some of the jewelry pops up.

 

My mom has already started looking....as most of the items are pretty old and fairly unique. Haven't heard any word as to if they've processed the fingerprints/DNA samples yet. But yes, if there's a match and they are caught, they WILL get what's coming to them.

 

Talked with my dad today....said Mom's pawn shop scouring has paid off.....she came across 4 of the watches that were stolen in a pawn shop in Bradenton I'm assuming. She notified the person at the shop that those were her items, and they locked them up in a safe and notified the police ASAP. She also said pawn shops photo ID you and sometimes even fingerprint you when you bring stuff in, in case it's hot. Hopefully whoever brought the watches in is the person responsible for the break in, or will be willing to talk if they brought the stuff in for someone else. Prosecution to the fullest extent of the law will be done if my parents have anything to do with it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they can catch the asshole/s who did it.

I know, it's sickening that people think they have the right just to take your things whenever they feel like it. As if they have more right to it than you do.
