Holy shit!! About damned time someone wised up and hired your ass. Good luck on the dream job interview as well though it'll be nice to walk in there knowing that you've got a fall-back if things don't go well (like forgetting to wear pants).

 

Seems like everything comes in bunches....when something goes bad a lot of stuff goes bad at the same time but when something good happens it comes in large amounts. Congratulations. Hope you get the job that you want.

 

Thanks again for the kind words and whatnot. Interview with Nielsen went okay. Turns out to be something different than what I expected. Not exactly sure if the job or organization is for me. But I'm supposed to be contacted next week when the hiring manager gets back in town...we'll go from there with another interview if they are still interested.

In the mean time I'm going to accept the Unitrin Direct job. Quite honestly sounds like a better job for me. While still stressful, the work environment seems more fun and I'll be with people around my age. The management is a great group of people whom I think I'll like working with. Plus I've just been thinking a lot today about what I really want out of a career...and perhaps market research just isn't my thing. I'll just see where this Unitrin job leads me. Seems like it may be a decent path to follow.

Choices are always good...the more the better. With as much as I work, I am forced to take whatever falls into my lap and go with it based apon blind faith.
