How to sell the money pit (aka my car)

You shouldn't have any problem selling that car for 8k Bill. That is a steal. It would be much more expensive for someone to buy a stock Civic and put it together like yours. The key to selling it is finding the potential buyer(s) who are looking for exactly what you have.

Well I guess 8k was a little low as people keep suggesting 10k. Bleh, I'll see how it goes.
Anyways, how exactly should I handle the whole contract and money issue? I mean, I'm not going to accept a personal check so it looks like I'll have to either accept cash or a money order right? I'm really not sure what to expect on this as I've never sold something this expensive. Also, how would I go about getting a contract writen up? Lawyer (not digging that idea)?

You don't need a contract. I wouldn't accept a money order or a check. Just tell the buyer to get a cashiers check from a bank. They are just as easy to get and they're as good as cash. BTW, I also agree that you should ask for 10k.

I didn't realize how much fun the 350Z actually was until I drove one..
If you like FR cars, give one a test drive, you may like it.
If i had the money I'd buy the Civic.
It would run for over 200,000 miles ( AS SCOTTS INTEGRA PROVES EVERY DAY )
