On day 368 with my current employer some fucking idiot in a budget rental truck decides I'm moving to slow on my way out of a truck stop and tries to fly past me, unsuccessful, he's towing a trailer and his trailer tires tangle with my front left tires lugnuts, he lost. Then he jumps out and starts yelling that I hit him. I was livid, luckily another driver saw the whole thing and called the cops. Cop gets there we go through all the bs with paperwork. Then I call the company and give the details, and the whole time they are giving me shit like it was my fault.

Fuck them and the high horse they road in on, I'll have another job in no time. Then I can tell them exactly what they can do with their truck.

Sorry, had to vent somewhere.

I found a better job 3 months ago, but I needed to finish my year out here. That's done so I'm switching companies.

 

Are you going to stick with driving trucks Walter? I'm seriously thinking about getting my Class A CDL and Hazmat certification soon.........

I went to an open house at Roadmaster tonight. Prolly going to see up an interview with one of their recruiters soon. My dad has been driving for 20 years so I know a decent amount already about the industry. My main concern is going to be the time I get home.
