Thanks john. I probably won't do the local gig just yet, but if I get the job I want I'll be home just about every 3 weeks for 3 or 4 days.

Jomar, roadmaster is a pretty good school, that's where I went. Just don't believe everything recruiters tell you. If you have questions about any of the companies, I've done a good bit of research.
Who does your dad drive for?

My dad drives locally for Energy Dispatch/Racetrac. He's been hauling gasoline for them for about 10 years. Yeah, the recruiters tend to feed you a lot of stuff to try to lure you in. Convenant Transport was there tonight. They seem to be a good company, just got to do some more research........

That's cool, I'm too worried about what some retard may do to drive a tanker full of fuel.

Yeah covenant seems like a good place to start.
I was trying to decide between them and stevens when I got my cdl, but 2 other guys from my class where going to stevens so I went with them.

Yeah, my dad had one close call once. Covenant is very appealing, but the time away from home is what I am most worried about.

Hah, they're fucking self insured. Talk about making too much money, they are one of the most profitable trucking companies out there. It's no wonder since they don't pay shit.
