Thought of any aftermarket (or better than what you have) goodies to replace the broken shit with yet?

Practically the same thing almost happened to me today. I was waiting in line to pull out of Publix onto Himes. Stupid bitch in a Caravan was blocking the entire drive. For some reason she kicks it into reverse, yet doesn't go anywhere. Thinking the worse and knowing I have a snowballs chance in hell of finding replacement parts for my car, I back up as far as possible. Sure enough, traffic clears and soccer mom hits the gas totally forgetting she was in reverse. Had I not backed up, my car would have been in trouble.

Anywho, sorry to see your car wounded...at least you are okay. I'm guessing this is the opportune time for a Silvia front end?

the grille with the word 'silvia' (and maybe some non-foggy glass headlights) would be a conversion. but i say a carbon hood (painted of course) would be in order.

sucks to hear, guess that fat refund and him already paying for it is good though.
