i know you dont want to go to church, niether do i, but sometimes you have to sacrafice things to get what you want. i met my church girl outside of church though. and sitting though church isnt too bad, just sit in the back and bring a gameboy with you.

You're just supposed to talk up whatever you do know as if you're a salesman for it. i.e. I drive a Supra and a Corolla therefore 2JZ is the greatest and so is the 4A and I don't care about anything else because it's all crap since I don't have it. i had/have the same views as you john..i am not very fond of organised religion.. and Sarah knows it.. but outside of the church stuff our views are pretty similar.. she accepts the fact that while i dont HAVE to go to church..i do so because its something else we can do together... its not bad for me.. wont kill me.. and sometimes i find it entertaining to listen to our preacher as he tells good jokes.. and often i find what he is talking about interesting.. mostly though i use t as an oportunity to just observe people ..

I too am involved with a sudo-religious girlfriend. While she doesn't go to church, she did graduate from a catholic high school ( 
) and she believes in the whole god/jesus thing. As for me, she knows I pretty much despise religion with a passion and wouldn't even be caught dead inside of one (no church funeral for me). We both respect each others opinions/beliefs and don't try to change one another.
I guess when it comes to relationship issues, you really have to respect what the other side is saying. Don't ever try to help them through anything unless they ask for it. As the old saying goes...you can't help someone unless they want to help themselves.

John just relax and focus on you being happy. If your happy with yourself the right girl will come along sooner or later. Seems like when you're out looking for the right girl, she's nowhere to be found. Just go do things you like and have fun. I agree that there are probably a lot of hotties at church but I've never been. I can't go there either because I worship Satan.
