Scott, who cares if Limey was all motor? His motor costs more than Al's car with mods included.
As the old saying goes, its run what you brung and hope its enough to beat the other guy......

I did not say anyone had to care but it is very impressive given how much juice Al's car has on it. Imagine if Limey had the same size shot as Al in addition to the motor ?

Building a 600+ h.p. n/a is more impressive than slapping on a power adder regardless of how much someone spends. And this is coming from someone that is strapping on a power adder.

None the less congrats to AL for smacking him down.
Limey would not run a shot that size. The motor cost too much. He has the direct port tuned for a 150 and I think thats about all he will go. He may up it a lil if hes close to a goal...but I doubt it.
Me on the other hand......the honeymoon is over with this current motor...time to see what this combo can really handle
With the way the engine has held up so far I think a 375-425 shot is not unreasonable. Why spend $40,000 on an exotic motor when you can get another noid, window switch, and arm switch for $150
Its the knowledge on how to use it that is priceless.

I'm lost...
Weren't the production specs on ZR-1s something like 6,000 made in a five year period? If so, that motor has got to leave one hell of a hole in the pocket book. I don't know if I'd have the balls to modify one...

I'm 165 lbs on an empty stomach (which is what I prefer on a good fast car ride along) if you ever need a co-pilot. And no, I don't spook easily...an 8 second car didn't phase me. Someone have a video cam for when Al's car is back? Active tripod here.
Your in man! I need a vid or two
But it will probably be two or three weeks. I need to get new springs and shims, possibly an ID spring cup to help stabilize the springs in the pockets, then get it retuned.
