well the engine that i pulled from the integra was a b16 and i replace it with a b16 but it was from a 1990 integra 4 door the distributer wires were the same color but had a diff style plug in

ok i just found out the orgional engine was a b18a1 i put a b16a1 i used the dizzy from the b18a1 so if i get a b16 a1 dizzy and a computer to match will it work
the enigne i put in is a non vtec engine im so lost any help would be awsome

evidently i put a b18a1 obd 0 in and used an obd 1 wireing harness ecu and distributer and i have no power untill 4000 rpms

...well there's your problem. how did you get a non-vtec dizzy to fit a vtec dohc?

i didn't i have a b18a1 dizzy from 93 obd1 and i have an b18a1 engine from obd 0 and i have an ecu from obd1 so i am under the assumption i have a bad dizzy

...you said b16a1 in the previous post? that's a VTEC motor, the dizzy on a VTEC head has a different bolt pattern and it will not fit. obd0 and obd1 clips are different and don't clip together (physical impossiblity).

Im having the same problem But Only its a little different with my car its an acura integra 1998 automatic i just got a nerw engine put in because my timing belt went out but only thing is the place that i bought then engine from gave me the wrong engine and i had the guy that put it on for me pretty much take the other parts on my broken engine on the one i bought but my car runs fine it just seems to revv up when i reach 45 mph every time i go up to 45 mph an i dont know if it could be my transmission or just not sure what it could be im hoping its not my transmission because i just spent alot of money on my engine
