95 z28, modded lt-1 needs work
testing waters on my project car, heres the story:
95z, 119k mile. RARE mystic teal pearl stock camelion paint job with less than 3,500 made in this color!!, clean car fax in hand and clean clear ready title in hand.
kid had car driving to school when all of a sudden it seized up...he took it to a shop and they said he blew an oil seal and the motor was shot $3,000 to fix..he didnt have $3k so he stored it and bought/financed a new truck because he needed a ride to school/work. little over 3yrs later i stubled on it and bought it. it had oil which made me wounder about the oil seal story.. anyway my mecahnic put it on the lift and found the starter was crooked and jamed in the flywheel...i put a new starter in it and a little quick start it started right up after sitting 3+yrs
*we changed the oil/filter but it still has a tap on the passenger side 2nd cylinder back..most likely a stuck valve/lifter. ac compressor kicked on and kinda cold probally needs recharge, all power windows/locks alpine radio, bose amp and sub and all aftermarket speakers work and all electrical works.
*trans did nothing! we added a full container of trans fluid(the trans was bone dry, most likely needs new filter flush, fluid) and it worked! its hard to get in reverse and wont go in park..that could be a rusty cable from sitting(edit: acble was frozen and we freed it up but it is still hard to get into reverse and wont get into park but reverse works %100...as far as driving it it goes but slipped out of gear (auto) we filled with fluid and drove it from springhill to my house in holiday and is actually got better as we drove, no overheating or anything no problems.
its loaded with aftermarket parts:
carbon ss hood, all new lights, new front bumper/fender , no cat, 3" flowmaster exhaust,k&n intake 16" chrome rims with mint tires,z06 17" rims, spoiler, had color change paint but clear is comming off...needs driver mirror.
has non leaking glas t-tops with covers still in great shape,
at full price i also have a set of hooker long tube hedders!
looking for $2,500obo the hood is 300, hedders 350, intake 150, rims/tires worth at least 500, system 200...clear turn, headlights, etc..parts alone add over 2k and the car is free.
the car has new battery, starter and fuel pump, clean interior,

just put new fender and bumper on as well as nice ass z06 rims/tires!!! ugly aftermarket tail lights are gone and nice stock ones back in place. also just put brand new battery in it!!
