FS: 1993 Nissan 240sx CA18DET - $6000obo FRESH PAINT!
Well, My pride and joy is back for sale. It just rolled out of the paint booth on October 3, 2009 and is looking stunning! Unfortunately... After all I have been through financially lately, I really do not have the passion for cars that I use to. Right now, I'm focusing so much on life, that cars have taken a back seat to everything.
I will put it right here in the beginning of the thread, IT NEEDS A TUNE! I cannot say it any other way, The car does run and drive, and you can drive it home, but STAY OUT OF BOOST! The car was built to be reliable and fun and is plenty capable of 400whp or more on a professional tune. I hope it's new owner can take it to where I wanted to! The car also does NOT have AC.
Modifications
- CA18DET with under 5000 miles, rebuilt with New OEM Nissan gasket set, ACL Racing bearings, File Fit Rings, ARP Head and Main Studs, JUN Rod Bolts, Greddy Timing Belt, NEW Oem Water and Oil pumps, KA24DE Throttle Body
- XS Power T3/T4 Manifold re-enforced
- Custom 3" Turbo Back Exhaust with ebay N1 knockoff rear section
- Precision SC61 T3T4 60 Trim
- Tial 38mm Wastegate
- Deatschwerks 750CC Injectors
- Nismo FPR with Summit Liquid filled Gauge
- Nistune ECU
- AEM Wideband (can be connected to Nistune for autotune feature with laptop)
- Autometer Phantom II Boost Gauge
- Greddy Turbo Timer (black)
- XS Power FMIC Core with Custom piping
- Greddy Type S BOV
- 16 way adjustable coilovers (not sure of brand)
- R32 VLSD (4.36 gear)
- B&M Short Shifter
- Nismo 8 puck clutch and stock flywheel
- Cusco Solid engine mounts
- Nismo Transmission Mount
- 5zigen FN01RC 17x8 and 17x9 Bronze
Audio
- Pioneer DEH8600MP Head Unit (with custom screensaver for the car)
- JBL 6.5" Components in the front doors (no rear speakers)
- JBL 4ch amplifier w60x4RMS
*** The car does need a power steering pump rebuild, the 20 year old pump finally gave up the ghost! ***
