If anyone decides to do this you had better ask the lawyer what liability you have if this person (the buyer) gets into an accident with your name (the seller) still on the car. Especially if you have assets that can be lost in a lawsuit.

 

i go to school full time and have a 3.78 GPA (and have had nothing less)...and because of that my parents send me money 2 times a week (deposit it at bank of america)....plus i work full time as an assistant manager at the detail department at wesley chapel nissan so that adds more on to what my parents send me. (im a spoiled only child...but i only get what i want when i do good in school and do good for myself in life. plus my parents wont cosign for anything..thats the only thing they wont do, which is why im in this situation)

anyways...regarding the liability on the vehicle if an accident occurs..its pretty simple...depending on what you do with the insurance it will be covered. for example, if you(seller) puts me (buyer) on your insurance then obviously it will be covered by your insurance and then i (buyer) would then be responsible for the difference in your premium. but if i (buyer) put you (seller) on my insurance as a non-driving additional insured then we would have the LOSS PAYEE as the lein holder, meaning that if an accident occured the insurance company would write a check out in the lein holder's name.

im not trying to screw anyone over or sue somebody for all they've got. i just want a car that is manual and something that i would like...my fiance needs a car and she will be driving my 06 civic once i get another car.

anyways if you get to the point where you actually meet me you'll be able to figure out that im not trying to screw you over or anything. do a background check and all types of checks. im a straightforward honest person...btw im a girl..and if you really want you can drug test me...im clean as a whistle...i work all day detailing cars, i know how to take care of one...so dont think im trying to scam you or screw you over or anything. i'm very thorough and have slight ocd...so everything will be done legally and properly.

because my fiance likes to spend my money on things like nails, hair, clothes, dog food (we have 4 dogs & and we dont buy that cheap dog food), dog toys, groceries, going out to dinner etc...i mean obviously a car payment comes before all of that shit but when we just have it, we spend it, and since it doesnt NEED to go to anything she'll go do all that shit. plus i dont get sent a lump sum amount once or twice a month..my parents go to the bank two or three times a week. and i dont pay my rent, car insurance, car payment on my civic, or anything really...my parents pay for all of it. like i said earlier im a spoiled brat but only if i do well in school and do whats right for me...so i mean, if you are just going to bash on me thats fine..i have no problems explaining myself.

i've obviously tried everything else that i possibly could. its not like i want to do it this way, but i tried buying a project car cheap and i just dont have time to work on it...6 days a week working during the day and school at night..full time for both...i just want a car that i'll be happy in. i would just trade in the civic and bite the high interest rate but that's the one thing my parents wont let me do for some reason, i dont know why, maybe its because they are asian, who frickin knows. plus they are going to trade it in for me when i graduate. anyways, i still need 2 cars. one for me, one for my fiance. she made me get my damn civic in auto and i hate it so i want something that im going to enjoy driving. and she can drive the civic, its fcking brand new! 06 coupe!

i mean i've gone to pretty much every dealership in the tb area including the one i work at and they cant even help me out. buy here pay heres have crappy cars and unless somebody has another option, the taking over payments thing would be my only option.
