Yea, this car would make for a great dialy driver. This thing also handles like it's on rails so it would make a good autocross car as well.

It's a 5 speed and the AC needs to be converted over to the new Freon.

Okay, I got to keep the car for at least three more months. Now I've really got to sell her.

I didn't get a quote for the AC. All of the parts are there and my bet would be that it just needs a refill. It's still setup for R12 so you'd have to convert it over for the new stuff.

thats a nice car! Someone will buy that car, and thats a good price for what it is....
924/944 can make great race cars, but this one looks too clean to be converted.
Good luck with the sale!

How much are you asking for it now?

$6,000 OBO. If anyone wants to come and see the car and make me an offer let me know. I'm in Tampa Palms in the New Tampa area north of USF.

*** The price is now $5,000 OBO. ***

Default ac repair

ac repair on an old porsche could exceed $2,000, don't you think? even if all the parts are there, some may leak, and at different pressures, so you get to recharge and leak out two or three times. i'd prefer an vw with a/c over a porsche without. good luck with your sale.

For $2,000 you could add a whole new AC system to a car that's never had AC.

Lot's of people charge the AC system just to sell the car. "ICE COLD AC" Then the new owner STILL has to repair the AC when the Freon leaks out months later. I'm not like that. I can honestly say that I've put about $5,000 into this car to make it a safe reliable daily driver.

This car has just over 25,000 original miles so more than likely the Freon just leaked out over time. There may be a dried (cracked) o-ring or something like that. I don't know of too many AC systems that wouldn't need some Freon added to it when they hit 25 years. I've looked and it's usually about $150 to $200 to convert the AC over to the new type of Freon.

Thanks
