*** I'm relisting this car.***
*** New lower price. $5,000 OBO.***

This is an '81 Porsche 924 Weissach Commemorative Edition with just over 25,000 original miles. It is number 349 out of 400 produced and I've got the certificate and the dash plaque that shows this.

This is my Father-in-law's car that I got up and running for him because it was killin' me to see the car just sit in his garage and never be used. Well, now what to do with it? He can't drive it because he can't even get in and out of it and I've already got too many projects as it is.

Anyway, it's got a new battery, tires and a whole bunch of stuff to make this car a perfect daily driver. It starts right up and runs great.

***$5,000 OBO***
E-mail me at derek_ferguson@floridalift.com if you have any questions. Leave me a number and I'll give you a call.

not bad for clean 81 porsche BUMP

Thanks. The car is in really nice condition. I'll bet that this is the best original condition 924 out there and a collectors edition as well.

The car sat in a garage in Vero Beach for the past 8 years and being a car guy, I couldn't stand seeing it just sit there. So, I agreed to get it up and running. The entire fuel system has been cleaned, repaired or replaced. Same with the brake system. This includes new pads, brake booster and master cylinder. I've put new tires, battery and timing belt on. The car was taken to a local Porsche shop to have most of this work done. I have recipts for over $4000 worth of work not including the tires, battery, timing belt and some other stuff that I did my self. I'd say the car has had over $5000 in work done to it over the past few months just to make sure that it's safe and 100% street drivable. Why? Because I wanted to keep it myself but I've got a '90 GT and a '91 LX notch that I want to work on and there is just not enough room in the two car garage. (Translation, the wife wants to park her car in the garage again. :D )

I'd still like to keep it because this thing handles like it's on rails. Oh well.

Thanks! The car is in great condition and any work that needed to be done to get the car in shape was done at Dave White Racing here in Tampa. If you've not heard of them check out their web site. www.davewhiteracing.com

Here's your chance to get a limitied edition Porsche with low miles.

Make and offer.

I think that TR may not be the right demographic for this rare and unique piece. Try Pelicanparts.com or rennlist.com. They may work out a bit better for you.
