Bmw E60 reliability
Yeah E60 is definitely a 5er, not a 7 series. Range from 03 to 2011.
You gave a wide verity of models, from 525i to 540i. I mean there is a big price difference between the two.

The E60 chassis cuts off at 2010 there buddy, the 2011 is the F10. The E60 is great, I had a 535i and had no issues with it, and my brother has a 08' E60 M5, even that hasn't had issues and it has 60k miles, no services other than the usual maintenance. If your spending the money to buy an E60 (probably 20k+ for a decent one), you might want to go to BMW and spend $1500 getting it certified, so you get the 7 year/100,000 mile warranty. Its worth the money
