hey jrigs thanks for looking. where is your shop at? tampa? if you had a valance that looked like it would fit an e30, than i would mind takin it off your hands. Are there any bmw shops around the bay area, besides the u-pull it, that would be appropriate for e30s?

 

my "shop" isn't really a "shop" its the back side of one of the mechanic bays at an auction in tampa, dads 2nd in command at the place and i've been lucky enough to store a TON of stuff there over the years. and i'm fortunate enough to be able to use the facility on slower days to work on my projects.

as for more on the lowers i have 2, thought i had a 3rd but it's gone no clue where to. one is an evo race front but its not for sale anymore and the other is a super busted up 'is' lower which i think i'm going to need to salvage the evo one. i use to have one just like that pic but i didn't see it in heaping pile.


as for shops i always suggest Andrews (his TR screen name is lutzperfautoinc ) shop which is Lutz Performance Automotive if he can't do it he'll tell you who can.

oh also a quick way to test the window for a switch vs regualtor is swap the good switch from side to side and see if the others will operate with the known good (drivers side) one. You can usually tell when its a regulator as usually clunking or noise from the cables binding should occur.

 

thanks mucho. i moved the switch around and each time it made a clunking noise like it was trying to roll the window down. so im assuming its a rugulator problem.

 

yep new reg time, go ahead and pick up new switches while your at it the are fairly cheap

magic about the valance, on 50th there is a place called european used parts, and they have an 86 325es with that valance, its been hit but with a bit of bondo, you can make it work. and you can bring the price down lol

quick question, i got an 9 button OBC and i pluged it in on the cluster and on the OBC but nothing is turning on, now the light bar is new, the backlight to when you turn the lights on it lits the keys is also new, does that mean that its busted??? if so anybody got one, that is the only thing making my interior horrible

hey favio is that 50th in st. pete? and yeah dude i know what you mean about the professors wanting to give hw. i had 3 papers due and 2 consecutive exams. lame. as far as the car show on thurs i cant be there cuz of skewl all day. friday, on the other hand, is lookin goood for me. so far count me in.
