i'm looking into buying a bike within the next 6 months

i would have had one by now but school and my car have kept mey money tight--but now i have a decent job and car is running....

anyway, i love kawasaki's and wanted a 1996 up 7R but due to funds am looking at $6R's in the $2500 price range

anyone know of any problems the 6R's have or a bike that is it's class for $2500---besides old ass bikes

i dont want a 91 Gixer or some old ass R1 ---- i want something around 1996 up

PS-- no can of tunas (so if your that guy here selling that 750 katana do not tell me about it )

Try to find one thats never been down. And doesnt have that many miles. Not that easy to find for your price range, but theyre out there. Cycletrader.com has a bunch of good deals.

Also take a look at the teeth on the sprocket to make sure the teeth are not sharp/pointy. I believe that if they are, you would have to change the sprockets soon. They should be slightly rounded if in good condition.

Also, you might not think about it, but a good set of tires are $250+, so try to find one with decent tires.

I have a 97 CBR 900RR for sale. It also comes with a $600 Technic matching leather jacket with removable liner, a $200 Joe Rocket Phoenix summer-time armored jacket, a $350 Bell helmet, a $200 HJC hemet, a tank bra, and a cargo net. All of the mods have been done at Elite Performance on Gunn Hwy, by Gary (the owner).

All for $6000.
