Dino,
Are any of your jackets Black and/or Silver? And what sizes? Care to sell them outside of your bike?

Thanks.

Stangarang,
I know you said no Katana's, but I just picked up a 99 with 4,100 miles on it, in brand new condition with a slip on muffler for about $4,500. It's a good entry level bike that you can pick up pretty cheap.

Another one to look at would be a Bandit. They sit more straight up but the 600S is a cool bike (same engine as mine except less farrings). Just some ideas. I know there are several 2 year old Bandits for a little over 4,000, so if you looked for like a 97-98 you probably be close to your price range.

Chismoe, my leather is black and yellow, and my Phoenix is all black. I would rather wait on that for a little bit... it's kind of a selling point, that someone can get over $1000 worth of stuff with the bike. If I change my mind, I'll let you know, though!

Just another point... people always say they want little weak bikes to start off on, and that's a utter bullshizit. If you don't crank the throttle over, it's not going to take off. My first bike was a 125rwhp rocket, and it actually is good to start off with something bigger and stronger, so you don't outgrow it in 3 months!! I would've been pissed at myself if I would've gotten a 600 like I was going to do for my first bike... I would've been back trading it in within a month or two!! Salespeople always say start off small, that way you will have to come back and buy another bigger one from them!!
