You tried Valerian root or pot? Probably not as effective as the perscription drugs, but might make it more managable.

No shit. At least I'm not the only one who feels like I'm 50.

Boyfriend said I clicked first second third, then he heard me down shift and the bike shut off. I did't go into any ditch or anything and the quad didnt flip. What we think happened is that I fucked up with the clutch probably trying to feather it to turn back and dumped it (I have tiny hands and we have to always fix and adjust short levers so I can reach em) The bike had a built motor, 80-90 hp and it most likely lifted up on me and when I tapped the rear brake to bring it down, it slammed me down n pitched me off. The balljoint on the front right broke and stuck into the ground. When he got to me I was face down on the ground unconscious with collapsed lungs struggling to brreathe with my jaw locked shut. He saved my life... had to shove his fingers in my jaw to pry my mouth open and put me on my side and get my tongue out of my airway. EMS failed to intubate me, bay flight came and took me to St. Joes down in Tampa. I guess a 4 minute response time. Not sure how long I was without oxygen for but I'm lucky I have no brain damage.

I was in a medically induced coma from the 25-26th, on ventilators til the 27th. Had two chest tubes put in, abdominal exploratory surgery for internal bleeding, fractured left collar bone, broke 3 ribs, fractured pelvis, fractured right elbow, and lots of rash mostly on my arms and chest. They expected me in ICU for a month, I was there for 10 days and in a regular room for another 4. Came home yesterday at the two week mark. Gnna be a long recovery but I got this. Couldve been way worse, I almost lost my life, but managed to pull through. This was deff an eye opening experience, shit happens, accidents happen, and I'll probably never remember what went wrong but 'm so thankful for all the support and everyone I had by my side when I woke up.
this is a little late, as I haven't been on here in over a month.

Hey Sarah, I don't really know you except from on here on the forums and what not. Sorry to hear about your accident, but glad to hear you're ok. I'll put you in my prayers for your future rides just in case. GWS.

did they do the exploratory surgery laparoscopically, i hardly ever see this but sometimes with young pretty girls the doc's go the extra mile. but your doc was old and set in his ways, i guess he didn't. plastic surgery has come along way, they are doing titties thought the belly button now with out even leaving a scar... they will have looking good as new or better by the end of the year

no I have about an 8" scar down the middle of my stomach now... and I'm not getting plastic surgery. They did exploratory surgery to find the bleeding, but they knew 100% sure there was bleeding. I bled out all 6 pints of blood and all air from my lungs into my abdomen. I looked 9 months pregnant according to my mom. He apologized for cutting me open but thats about it lol. It was rushed anyways, and I understand. My heart rate was at 36, so they didnt expect me to come thru surgery anyway I guess.
