glad youre ok. what did the doctor say about your collarbone? will it heal itself without surgery? non displaced or complete displaced?

if non displaced then youll be alright after a 6-8 weeks provided you have a good balance of osteoclasts/osteoblasts.

heal up quick and get back to riding. be very careful next time sir.

Okay so who's the best lawyer I should talk to? The state trooper was trying to imply it was no ones fault, so I need a good lawyer, it is obvious that he was at fault. There's skidmarks to show for it

i like mine.. i don't know how "good" he is since i have nothing to compare him too. but he's always around to talk too, or calls me right back himself. not just some slacker don't paper work for them and has even drivin by my job on his way home so i can sign papers and stuff. seems like a pretty good guy, i don't get the feeling he's a 1800askgary kinda guy. doesn't handle a lot of traffic stuff. mostly big name stuff like people getting killed on the job.

deff not a traffic mill like a lot of them. but then again, those may be better in your case, i have no way of knowing.

First I'm glad you're ok, and hope you have a fast recovery.

I'm not a lawyer so this isn't legal advice, this is just what I would do if I were in your situation.

Make sure to take plenty of photos of the crash site (especially the skid marks) and gather as much evidence as you can. I'm not familiar with the intersection, but are there any businesses or homes nearby? If there are make sure to ask around and see if anyone witnessed the crash and are willing to corroborate your story, get some names and numbers if possible. Did the guy driving the county truck get ticketed? I doubt he did since you mentioned the state trooper implying no one was at fault.

Regardless of whether or not he was at fault if the county is willing to cover in writing the replacement of the motorycycle, lost wages, and medical bills I don't really see the need for a lawyer, but I doubt they'll be that cooperative. Hopefully someone can recommend you a decent lawyer, good luck.

Yeah I'll be calling around tomorrow. The cop implied I switched into the lane at the same time the guy pulled out therefor it was just an accident. I was already in the lane, had my blinker on, and was alright trying to merge right back into the center line as he pulled out but he was still at an angle and I hit the qp and bounced off. I do have a witness so I'll see how it goes.

I need my bike replaced since it's totaled, I need my
Phone replaced (iPhone 4) because the screen was shattered when I hit him, hell I can't even drive my truck it's a 5 speed, and my right arms useless. I've played guitar my entire life and who knows how that will be once I heel up.

Just a tip, if there ARE any businesses around that intersection, ask them all if they have surveillance cameras. if any of them do and they possibly point towards the road and caught the crash, then that will be all the evidence you'll need.
