on your way up, unload and ride blood mountain and wolf pin gap. both great.

i just did the 28 called the moonshine run this time. was fun, but more of a site seeing trip than a hard run. everyone loves the skyway, long high speed sweepers thru the mountain. i dont, i got bored. but then again i dont drag knee or feel like doing 150 all day long.

bring marshmellows for the fire pit at night at the resort. always one of the best parts of the trip. harley guys up there are different around the pit, not drunk dicks like here, but on the road they are retarded and clueless. they will fuckup every good set of corners if you let them and still cross lanes at 15mph. think roaches..

oh and nut up and run it atleast once at night, the look out to the damn is nice at night. oh and there will be no cell service or wifi anywhere. so enjoy it, but let the wifes and girls know you will be off grid for a few days. so they dont think your dead.
Thats because at night Harley riders are high, and thus friendly.

Dont push the limit on the 1st trip. Stay in your lane. It may sound simple but its not always easy. Site see in the car and not on the bike. Google maps some of the other roads in the area. They might be more fun then the "gap".

I hope that I can go up sometime in April. That should give my brother in law time to finish college. Kenn600 should be back to riding regularly. Maybe Jameson will have a new bike by then. Anybody want to ride up with us let me know. I think we are riding up.

oh and the gap is broken up in sections with different types of corners. dont feel like you have run the whole thing. some times its more fun to find a few miles section you like and run that only.

i always find myself doing that towards the end of the trip

I'll have you know that my types of Harley riders who spend the night around a fire high on coke, pot, Opiates, and drunk are very friendly people.

What kind are you talking about?

I agree with you about 28 John. Def more of a scenic route, though it is a nice road to just chill on and it still has some decent corners.

I will definitely be back to 100% by then. If you want to plan for april then lets do it. I'll start saving up for a new set of tires. I know I'll need them by then or at least when we get back.
I also need money to pay for socks and underwear along the way.

I have a feeling if we are riding up we will all be buying socks, underwear and T shirts on the way up. Nothing like throwing away your clothes every night and buying new ones.
