ONGUARD Akita Cable Lock - 3/4" Thick! = Junk, pics inside
this is where i bought it, it was 59 bucks i got the 3/4" by 6' long version (the biggest one...
Cycle Gear - ONGUARD: Akita Cable Lock, 5036
they told me it was the safest lock they had, it couldn't be picked and you would need a plasma torch to cut it off the bike
well tonight i go to the casino to whoop ass at the poker table (and i did) i come out to the parking garage, go to unlock my 5 month old lock and the laser cut key brakes off inside the lock, just right to where there is now way to get it out or turn it to unlock it... luckly they had a locksmith that works at the hard rock hotel but he couldn't get it to unlock..
so then they gave me a 18v dewalt sawsaw with an all purpose blade and told me they can't destroy my property. i figured i would give it shot even thought cycle gear said only a plasma torch would cut though it.
i cut though the lock in like 3-4 mins and i wasn't trying to rush it just ate though it like it was made of wood, i have had a harder time cutting though thinner master locks..
tomorrow i will be at cycle gear and they better have a refund or tell me who to talk to about this cause its bullshit... i buy alot of shit from them and they have always been cool with me returning shit.... to be continued

i would have bought it if they said its the best lock we have but it will only take a thief 4 mins to cut thought it...

i just called them they said they will take it back and get me a better lock.. manger wont be there till Wednesday, and its fine cause thats when my new 2 up sprocket, black puig double bubble shield (with zx14 logo), and 200mm Michelin sport tire should be in anyway. maybe i can convince them to mount my new tire too

Damn dude that blows, Rotor lock would probably be good. but if u forget its on it'll be a pain in the ass if it gets bent.
