It was a beautiful day so I stayed home and change my spark plugs. At first it ran great but after about 5 minutes it started breaking up. Now it's back at it. Ugh. I'm gonna just kick it over and let it rot.

Hmmmm

Right before I took her off the road for paint and shit, I had a short between my stator and rectifier, which murdered the rectifier. Actually, this was the reason I took the bike off the road haha. Went ahead and started the paint and mods while it was off the road, wasn't planning on doing it for another week or so.

Anyway, I put a new stator and rectifier in and rebuilt the plug between them. Maybe my ECU also took a hit?

Joe, you're welcome to come to Gainesville and help me figure this mess out. There's delicious yuengling here?

hey clawhammer, when you come down to tampa, join tampasportbikes.com, there are tons of good info on there and lots of trips to various tracks. there are currently track days planned at Road Atlanta, Barber, Homestead, and Jennings on the site.

and For you guys in the Tampa area looking to get plastics painted, I paint bikes and have pictures to share of prior work if you guys are interested.

I'd gladly help you out. Unfortunately, I have a crap-load of homework to be doing. Speaking of which...

I know on the fzr if the rectifier goes bad it can mean bad joo joo including our tci. Could be the same for your ecu. I'd go with Carlos and do an ecu swap to check
