$230 shipped from kneedraggers.com

I was worried the helmet would be too similar to the lower end IS-16, which was designed after the FS-15, but the CF helmet feels almost weightless, and the wind noise is lower. so it was worth it.

You get what im saying though. The level and degree to which is helmet is made at is different. Each Arai, is handmade, then inspected and if its not up to par then it gets chucked and they start a new one. Im not saying that HJC's arent handmade, but im sure we all know that the degree and standard and the time spent on each helmet is way lower than that of a higher end helmet. I've seen an HJC fall off the bed of a truck, at a distance of no more than 4 and a half feet, and split the shell in half, hell, I had first hand experience with an HJC that I got free with a bike I traded for, and that fell down off a shelf in the closet and split the inside open to where styrofoam was showing. Its a never ending argument as to which type of helmet is better or worse, because people have preferences. But I can say if a helmet with crack that easy from small distance falls, I can only imagine how safe i'd feel in the event of a hard impact from falling of the bike a high speeds.
