Default Michelin Pilot ROAD 2CT any use these..

call me a fag, ricer, queer whatever if you don't like me, then give me your honest thoughts on this tire...

i'm still under the 100mile brake in on the tire.. but since its a road tire i'm feeling kinda nervous about leaning it as far as i would with the battleaxe i'm use to..

i got the pilot road rather pilot power cause i take the bike to work and put alot of miles on her,and i have been getting a flat spot in the middle of the old back tire..

the guy at the store assured me this tire would grip on corners, has any one tried it.

ps this is the pilot road 2ct with the dual compound i'm using

man up...lean the bike. you will be okay.....the compound on the outer edges is about the same as a pilot power. trust me...you cant push that bike hard enough to lose traction with the tires you have.

i've heard nothing but good things about the road ct2s. only thing would be the turn it wouldn't be as easy, but that doesn't mean they won't turn it, it just takes a little more effort.

one guy that used to work at cycle gear says he used them as rain tires on his race bike. so pretty much give it hell man, the tires will be fine. i wouldn't trail brake into corners very hard on them when they are still cold, and wouldn't go full throttle on exit as early as on the softer tires, but mid corner roll thru i couldn't give a 2nd thought.

i have heard good things about the power pilot but i dont know how much of a difference there is between that and the road 2ct. but i do know that michelin makes a damn good tire, my father has been in the tire business for 26 years if that means anything.

That bike with a basic road tire on it from the factory will absolutely and without a doubt outperform you. You are the ONLY limiting factor on that thing.

ive sold plenty of tires and had plenty of types.race, road. and the 2ct you have. they'll hold. when i first bought my scoot. i put my factory tires to the max.

btw, the 2ct is nice. i personally stick with the standard. id use the 2ct dual compound as a pretty good sales pitch. you can actually look inside the tire and see the two compounds. where they meet.

Yeah, I had some 2CT's...I liked them. I once took a turn leaned over at 92 degrees...they held up nicely...
