Rider Down: Racer Raul RIP
I got a call from Brandon a lil while ago telling me that Raul passed away this morning. He was riding in the mountains with a group of guys and he went off the edge of the road and off of a 60 foot drop. My prayers are with his wife, children, family and friends. He was a great guy and he will be missed greatly!
I will post funeral arrangements when I find out. It will probably be held in Tennessee.

It's not a joke. Keep this thread respectful. Raul was a very smart man who always had the best intentions with his family and friends. He was always the person I would go to for advice and so on. Over the years he and his family became my family and this is extremely sad and I cannot believe this has happened.
I was kind of hoping this wouldn't make it on TR for a few reasons but I'm sure Raul would want some of you to know since he considered some of you friends.
As for what actually happened, I do not know. I got a story of where the accident happened and if it's where I'm thinking there is a significant drop on one side of the road that is riddled with trees before ending at the lake at the bottom. My hopes are that it happened too fast for him to know what was going on.
Again, keep this respectful for the respect of Raul, his family and friends. Thank you.

oh my god....thats terrible he was one of the coolest guys on here...its almost unbelievable...makes me think of how fragile our lives are
