I wouldnt go for the 500r. I rode one for a little bit of time and they are weird. They just feel small and are underpowered IMO. JUst up 100 more CC's and have some restraint lol.

Never gonna get no pussy on a 500r......Besides 500cc and 600cc isn't that big of a difference if you weigh 250.. The only thing you're going to do is ensure you can't get your money back if you buy a bike with a banana seat. Buy a 600 for cheap or offer that dude 500 bucks for that 500r but a grand, no way. my first bike was a 2000 R1, don't disrespect the fact that you can do 50-100mph with a twist of the throttle and don't ever get so comfortable that you stop paying complete attention to everything around you and you will make it a lot longer without laying your bike down. As for other people, you can only control so much.

I have a stable girl with me, also I have control over myself, but I don't want something that is 600 or bigger. I want a comfortable, semi-sporty, efficient bike, which is a 500.

Have you thought about the ninja 650r...its not quite a sport bike so the gearing doesnt make it as aggressive as a 600rr i believe..idk much about them but i mean could be an option

found a quick article about it...says it has 50 hp less than the 600rr bikes so its not quite as powerful but looks sporty... (yes i know you said you didnt want a 600cc bike but..this is a vtwin and runs differently) All about automotive: Kawasaki Ninja 650R - Good Capable Middleweight
